Quickly bond catheter substrates with LED or UV/Visible light. The Dymax CTH line of catheter bonding adhesives provides reliable, cost-saving assembly solutions for device manufacturers. The products cure in seconds when exposed to light energy, are one component, and meet or exceed ISO 10993 standards.
These materials feature excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates used in catheter assembly such as stainless steel, ABS, nitinol, PA, glass, aluminum, polyurethane, and PC and are used in applications like Y-connector assembly, balloon bonding, marker bands, and many more.
Additionally, some formulations feature See-Cure, Ultra-Red®, or combine the two in our proprietary Encompass® technology. Encompass adhesives dispense one color, transition to clear upon cure to confirm proper material placement, and also fluoresce under blacklight for post-cure bond-line inspection.
Adhesives with a secondary heat-cure capability for shadow areas, multipurpose adhesives for plastics and metals, and LED-curable formulations are available. The products are also compatible with gamma, EtO, and E-Beam sterilization.
